Ten years ago in Apollo Pennsylvania, the Suiverveld’s lost their dog. They eventually gave up looking for Abby, thinking she had died. An animal shelter called them recently announcing, “We have your dog!” They had tracked them down through the black lab’s microchip, and Abby is now reunited with her overjoyed family!

Garbage collectors in Ankara Turkey are literary heroes. They started rescuing discarded books and collected so many, they opened a library! Located at the sanitation department’s headquarters, the library is open to the public and also loans books to schools and prisons. Now people donate books to the library instead of trashing them!

Imagine if your head weighed 48 pounds! A bighorn sheep skull discovered in Montana is the world’s largest. It’s massive horns curl around for nearly 50 inches and are over 17 inches in circumference. The sheep had died of natural causes on an island in Flathead Lake. Maybe so many people complimented him that he got a big head!
