How much good can you do in one hour? 500 staff members at Brown University filled 3000 backpacks with school supplies in an hour! They broke the world record while helping the United Way of Rhode Island, who will distribute the backpacks to children in need over the summer. What a kind and awesome feat!

The Electrorana limoae is a newly discovered species of frog, but it’s already extinct. The tiny frog was among 4 found embedded in amber in Myanmar. The frogs lived 99 million years ago! They inhabited a tropical ecosystem where things decompose quickly, so finding a skeleton so well-preserved is extremely rare.

Kaylyn Marie got locked out of her house when a wooden rod used to hold the patio door closed, fell back into place. But she coaxed Sam, her 8 year-old golden retriever, to remove the rod so she could get back in! She was so happy, she promised him a swim in the pool and 10,000 treats!
