An airport in Lithuania has a festive reminder for passengers, because they created a tree out of confiscated items! The scissors, knives, liquids, and lighters, make beautiful decorations.

People decorate their Christmas trees with ornaments, lights, or even strings of popcorn. But an Australian couple had a big snake on their tree! Leanne Chapman came home from work, to find a 10-foot-long python coiled around their outdoor tree. They left it alone, and after a few hours, it slithered off by itself.

A brand new community is growing by the hour. 50 houses are being built, with a 3D printer! Each 500-square-foot home takes 24 hours to print. The groups ICON and New Story, are giving the houses to families in Tabasco Mexico, who have been living in extreme poverty. They’ll finally have shelter in a safe environment!

Are you a messy eater? Maybe you need a self-cleaning hoodie. The sweatshirt is made from fibers that repel liquid, so your spilled drink rolls right off! It only needs washing once a month, and dries quickly. The company that developed the clothing, Unhoused, donates one sweatshirt to the homeless for each one sold.

Today is Monkey Day! It started as a joke when a college student wrote “Monkey Day” on his friend’s calendar, but it’s now celebrated around the world. The smallest monkeys are Pygmy marmosets, at only 4.6 inches long! Act like a monkey today; jump around and eat a banana!

B is the first bee influencer on social media. The little insect is documenting her travel, shopping, and fashion on Instagram, just like the big celebrities. The Foundation de France is raising money to protect bees, by letting companies give money to the BEE FUND. In return, they’re featured on bee_nfluencer’s Instagram page!

It’s fun to walk a dog, but picking up their poop? Not so much. If your dog has a fenced-in yard, you’ve probably found some by accidentally stepping in it. That’s why the Beetl robot is being tested. The robot roams around the yard, scooping poop! Maybe it can follow you on your walks!

One thing a planet needs to support life, is water. NASA released a map this week, that shows spots on the planet Mars, where ice lies just below the surface. Astronauts would be able to dig it up with a shovel! The ice could provide drinking water, or be used to create rocket fuel.

Did you create anything yesterday, for Gingerbread House Day? Now you can appreciate the skill it takes, to create a giant gingerbread Imperial Star Destroyer. The Star Bakery, in Stockholm Sweden, has also built a Millennium Falcon and a massive A-T-A-T in the past. I wonder what Star Wars masterpiece is next!
