Baby Galaxies Have No Stars

Astronomers have discovered 6 galaxies that appear to have no stars! They are called dark galaxies, and might be just beginning galactic formation. They are hard to study since they don’t emit visible light. Scientists use a MUSE, which is short for Multi Unit Spectroscopic Explorer. The MUSE can detect galaxies when they are just babies!

Uranus Smelt It

Poor Uranus. After years of debate, astronomers have finally identified the gas that makes up the planet’s clouds. It’s hydrogen sulfide, the gas that makes rotten eggs and flatulence smell so good. Yep, Uranus smells like farts. Ha ha ha hoho-hee-hee, hoho hoo hee! It’s also -328 degrees Fahrenheit, so I don’t think I’d want to visit Uranus anyway!
