Excitonium is a New Form of Matter
You probably know solid, liquid, and gas are states of matter. Maybe you also know about plasma and Bose-Einstein condensates. Researchers have discovered a sixth form of matter, called excitonium. It is a condensate formed by excitons, which are particles formed by an escaped electron and the hole it leaves behind. Exciting stuff!
