This Kid is a Rock Star

Canadian boy Judah Tyreman loves rocks. The 13 year-old earned enough money to rent a building to display his rock collection in Radisson Quebec. After his Sesula Mineral and Gem Museum was robbed last week, the Royal Saskatchewan Museum offered Judah all their duplicate specimens, people raised money, and the museum can reopen. Rock on!

Canada Makes Parks Free for Kids

The Canadian government celebrated Canada’s 150th anniversary last year by giving everyone free admission to all of their national parks for the year. Now they have permanently changed admission fees to give all children 17 and younger free access. What a great way to show kids from around the world the natural beauty of Canada!

A Long Awaited Honor

Esmond Allcock is one of the oldest men in Canada at 108 years old. He had 6 children, 17 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren, and 12 great-great-grandchildren, but no namesake. His granddaughter Jenna just gave him a wonderful gift: she named her new son Esmond, Jr! After 71 descendants, he finally has someone named after him!
