Cat Reunited with Family After 10 Years

The Thompson family adopted Pilot the kitten in 2004. He disappeared three years later and the Thompsons moved from California to Colorado in 2010. After hearing about hundreds of cats rescued in recent wildfires in California, Jenn Thompson decided to adopt one. It was Pilot! He’s been reunited with his family 13 years later!

First Cat in Space will get Statue

54 years ago the first cat was launched into space. But the travels of Felicette the cat have been largely forgotten. Matthew Serge Guy decided to raise money to give Felicette her own statue. Artist Gill Parker will create the sculpture which will be installed in the Astrocat’s hometown of Paris France.

Who is Smartest, Cats or Dogs – or Racoons?

Who is smarter, cats or dogs? A small study of animal brains found that dog brains have twice as many neurons as cat brains. Neurons are cells that process information. Brain size did not matter, since a big bear brain still had less neurons. But raccoons had the most neurons! They win!

Cat Steals Jesus’s Crib

The latest cat to strike internet fame lives in Queens New York. A photographer was walking past a Nativity scene in her neighborhood when she noticed something funny. Between Mary and Joseph, a cat was lying in the manger instead of baby Jesus! I hope he gives the bed back on Christmas Eve!
