Come to my Backyard World Record Party

Spencer McCullough, of Denver Colorado, broke  a world record. He made the world’s tallest stack of waffles! At 26 inches tall, it doesn’t sound so impressive, but it must be harder than it looks! With help from Steve Garguilo and Dustin Hoaglin, the waffle stack was built and documented in Spencer’s backyard!

Baby Sloth Hangs All Over Its Mom

A baby sloth was born at the Denver Zoo last week. The parents, Charlotte Greenie and Elliot, have not revealed the name yet. Linnaeus’s two-toed sloths spend 15 to 20 hours a day sleeping and are nocturnal, which means they are active at night. Baby sloth will cling to its mom for 6 months!

Cat Reunited with Family After 10 Years

The Thompson family adopted Pilot the kitten in 2004. He disappeared three years later and the Thompsons moved from California to Colorado in 2010. After hearing about hundreds of cats rescued in recent wildfires in California, Jenn Thompson decided to adopt one. It was Pilot! He’s been reunited with his family 13 years later!

Strange Lights Spotted in Sky

Strange flashing lights were spotted in the sky over Denver, Colorado. People suggested they might be UFOs, the military, or even Santa’s elves on a scouting run. Similar lights were seen in Missouri, Illinois, and South Carolina. Last month people across the U.S. saw multiple glowing orbs. There are no explanations yet.
