Marbled Crayfish Clones Itself
The marbled crayfish has an unusual ability. They can clone themselves! The marmorkrebs are all female and have a mutation that allows them to produce eggs without a mate. They are popular with people who have aquariums, but can’t be released into the wild because the populations take over.
