You’d Never Need a Bathroom Pass

NASA is working on a new spacesuit design that has a built-in toilet! The next spacecraft to carry humans, Orion, will have a toilet, but NASA wants astronauts to be able to survive in the suit for up to six days in case of emergency. For shorter missions, astronauts just wear diapers.

Stone Carvings May Represent Supernova

For 50 years, stone carvings found in Kashmir were thought to represent hunters, a bull and two suns. A group of Indian astronomers believe the artist witnessed a star that exploded around 4600 BC. The supernova happened near two constellations: Orion the hunter, and Taurus the bull. The scene could depict the entire night sky!
