Antique Car Breaks Land Speed Record

50 years ago, Mickey Thompson attempted to set a land speed record on the Bonneville Salt Flats in Utah. He and his car, the Challenger 2, were thwarted by rain. Mickey’s son, Danny Thompson, just set a new land speed record in his dad’s old car! With a few updates, the Challenger 2 hit 448 miles per hour!
