Bringing the Forests Back

Chimpanzees in Uganda are endangered, partly due to farming, logging, and fire. Many chimps live in an area called the Albertine Rift, which is also home to half of Africa’s birds, and many other plants and animals. To help preserve their habitat, 3,000,000 trees will be planted, and 700 households will be trained in forest monitoring.
