Closing the Plastic Recycling Loop

The French company Carbios, has created a way to recycle plastics using enzymes. The substance can break down any type of plastic, from contaminated food trays to polyester shirts, in hours. The resulting liquid is pure enough to make new bottles. Until we can stop using plastic altogether, it’s the best recycling solution.
