In recent years, scientists have found microbes, that like to eat plastic. While experimenting with the microscopic organisms, they created a mutant enzyme with a huge appetite, that devours 20% more plastic. Now researchers have created new super mutants, that break down more types of plastic, so they can be completely recycled. They’re Earth’s micro-superheroes!
