A man in New York, spotted 2 giant mastodon teeth, hidden under some plants in his backyard. He found 2 more teeth a few inches deeper, and decided to call the New York State Museum. Professionals uncovered an entire mastodon jaw. Mastodons were relatives of elephants, that lived during the Ice Age.
