Footprints in the Sand

Archaeologists had believed the earliest humans came to North America, between 13,500 and 16,000 years ago. But a team recently found 60 human footprints in White Sands National Park, that were between 21,000 and 23,000 years old. The lake bed in New Mexico also preserved tracks from woolly mammoths, dire wolves, and giant sloths.
