Inspired by Cockroaches

Scientists have developed a tiny robot that scurries like a cockroach. It also can’t be squashed. The insect-sized bot can move 20 body lengths-per-second, carry items 6 times heavier than itself, and withstand the stress of 1,000,000 times its weight. The robots could search disaster areas for signs of life, or find gas leaks in tight spaces.
