Lots of Shoving in the Solar System

A study of Patroclus-Menoetius, a binary asteroid, is revealing clues about the beginnings of our Solar System. It shows that Jupiter and Saturn were bullies! They pushed Uranus and Neptune out of the way, towards what is now the Kuiper Belt. That forced other debris, like the asteroid pair, back towards the sun.
