Lucy in the Sky, With Asteroids

Yesterday, NASA launched a solar-powered spacecraft, on a 12-year mission. The probe will explore 8 Trojan asteroids, near the planet Jupiter. The spacecraft is named Lucy, after the prehistoric fossil of a pre-human ancestor. After reaching the first asteroid in 20 25, Lucy will fly 250 miles from each rocky planetoid’s surface, gathering data.
