Magnolia State Votes for a Beautiful New Flag

The state of Mississippi voted for more than president on election day. Residents also voted for a new state flag. Instead of the old design, which featured a Confederate flag used by the losing side in the Civil War, the new design is red, gold, and blue, with a magnolia flower in the center.
