Mangrove Master Still Hard at Work
Douglas Thisera is the Mangrove Master. In his home country of Sri Lanka, he has planted over 2 million mangrove trees! For the last 16 years, Douglas has placed saplings in many locations, to prevent deforestation. Mangroves, which grow in salty water, help preserve shorelines, and provide a habitat for many fish and animals.
