Trash Gets Trapped by Seagrass

The world’s oceans hold tremendous amounts of plastic pollution. Nature has its own cleanup tool, to help trap billions of plastic bits. Clumps of seagrass growing on the ocean floor, capture floating pieces of trash, keeping animals from eating them. It’s World Seagrass Day, so thank a Neptune seagrass ball for its good work.
