Spiders Looking for Love

Researchers created an app called, “Spider in da House,” where participants could add data about the times and locations of spiders seen in their homes. After collecting nearly 10,000 records, they found that most wandering spiders are males looking for mates, and seen in the evening. Females mostly hang out in their webs.
