That Star Looks Familiar
Astronomers may have discovered our Sun’s long-lost twin! HD 186302 is 184 light-years away, but was almost certainly born in the same stellar nursery, (a massive cloud of gas and dust that forms stars as it collapses), 4.57 billion years ago. If HD 186302 is the Sun’s stellar twin, it may even have a twin Earth-like planet!
