That Surface Looks a Bit Pointy
One of Jupiter’s moons, Europa, is probably covered in an ocean of salt water, but that water has a crust of ice over it. Astronomers would love to send a probe to the surface, but the ice formations would make it hard to land. They believe it’s covered in 50 foot tall spikes of ice!
