Tiny Marsupial Re-emerges in Australia

Everyone thought the tiny crest-tailed mulgara was extinct in New South Wales Australia. But the marsupial was just hiding out for 100 years! Non-native rabbits, cats and foxes first ate its cover in the desert and then ate the mulgara. The rabbit population declined massively, allowing the small carnivore to make a comeback.
