Uakitite is a New Mineral

At the Annual Meeting of the Meteoritical Society in Moscow, geologists announced the discovery of a new mineral. The mineral was found in a rock from space, and has been named uakitite, since the metor was found in the Uakit region of Siberia. Unfortunately, the uakitite samples are microscopic.
