Imagine a fearsome Tyrannosaurus rex, stomping through a forest. Did you picture him, with his tail wagging? Scientists believe dinosaurs swished their long tails from side to side when they walked. They wagged their tails even harder when they ran, helping them keep their balance. There’s no evidence dinosaurs wagged their tails from happiness.
