Welcome Baby Xiao Qi Ji!

The National Zoo’s new giant panda cub, finally has a name! After letting people vote for their favorite, the winning name is Xiao Qi Ji. That’s Mandarin Chinese, for “little miracle.” He was born August 21st, to mom Mei Xiang and dad Tian Tian. Watch them on the zoo’s pandacam, at NationalZoo.s i.edu.
