Why are Porgs Cute?

What looks like a puffin but has eyes like a seal and a flat face like a pug? It’s a porg! The fictional creature from the newest Star Wars movie should be ugly, but its large eyes and helpless appearance make it cute. It’s a trait shared by human and animal babies, too!
