Wood is the New Steel

A new material is shaping skyscrapers these days. It’s called cross-laminated timber, or C L T, and is produced in the small town of Riddle Oregon. C L T is made by glueing panels of wood together in layers. Plyscrapers are earthquake and fire resistant, cheaper to build, and environmentally friendly!
